We have a new Executive Director : Chad Smith . He is a Talawanda graduate who, after graduating from Hocking College (Natural Resources Management) began a 14 year career with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources beginning as the Park Naturalist at Hueston Woods for 8 years (2003-2011), then as the Interpretive Services Manager for southwest Ohio where he supervised seven park naturalists in 13 state parks (2011-2013). His expertise, professionalism, and leadership resulted in a promotion to Park Manager for Sycamore State Park and then to be Park Manager for a combined Stonelick and East Fork State Parks. To TVCT, Chad brings an extraordinary commitment to conservation, mature management, experience with state and local governments, as well as with civic groups and the public.
We have new office location: Also of importance is our move to the Oxford Professional Building, across from the TRI in Oxford (5995 Fairfield Road, Oxford). Our new location is more accessible to our members, provides a professional, technologically up-to-date office for our staff, and represents a savings for our operating budget.
