Sarah Dumyahn
is a graduate of the Masters of Environmental Science program from Miami University’s IES, where she is currently a lecturer. Her Ph.D. in Natural Resource Conservation comes from Purdue University. Her professional experience includes the National Park Service, the US Forest Service, and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. She and her husband Joe love to play in the woods or in a creek with their son, Miles.
Ben Mattox has been a Oxford Resident since three years old and had a lovely youth exploring in the woods and creeks in our community. Ben taught Biology and Botany at Talawanda High School until he retired in June of 2015. Currently Ben enjoys participating in David Russell’s bird banding station at Hueston Woods and views helping Three Valley Conservation Trust as a natural extension of his personal interests.
Sara Morris grew up outside Oxford playing in the woods, caring for animals and enjoying many sports as well as both FFA and 4-H. She holds an Agriculture/Agronomy degree from Wilmington College and worked for the NRCS as a Soil Conservationist, then later as a District Conservationist at the state level. She is currently a Biology/Ecology/Botany teacher at Eaton High School. Sarah lives outside Oxford with her husband, Sam, and their children, Ben and Luna.
Amy Sullivan is Graduate Advisor and Teacher at the Green Mountain College Masters in Environmental Studies program and an Environmental Science teacher at the University of Phenoix. She holds a BS in Conservation Biology, a Masters in Wildlife and Range Resources from BYU and a PhD in Ecology and Evolution from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Amy was appointed to the Village of Brookfield Conservation Commission for ten years, four of which she served as chair.
Thanks so much for your donation of time, enthusiasm, advice and well-considered judgement.
